For retreats a deposit (£50 for weekends, £100 for longer retreats) or the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. The full cost of the retreat must be paid at least two weeks before the start of the retreat. If it is less than two weeks before the retreat starts then the full cost of the retreat must be paid at the time of booking.
Deposits for retreats are not refundable or transferable.
Solitary retreats made online must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Courses and Other Events
Courses and all other events must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
The concessionary rate applies to: students on a full-time course; people on a pension; people not working and drawing state benefits; and people employed in Triratna Buddhist Community TBRLs.
If a retreat is cancelled more than two weeks before the start date then a refund of the amount paid less the deposit will be paid. If a retreat is cancelled with less than two weeks before the start date then a refund will not be made.
Payments for courses and day events are not refundable or transferable unless the cancellation occurs more than one week before the start date in which case a refund of half the amount payable will be made.
If a solitary retreat is cancelled more than one month before the start date a full refund will be given less a £10 administration fee. If cancelled more than two weeks before the start date a 50% refund will be given. If cancelled less than two weeks before the start date no refund will be given.
In extenuating circumstances we will consider refunding deposits or payments at our discretion. If such circumstances apply then a letter or email should be written to the London Buddhist Centre explaining the circumstances. In all cases we will retain the sum of £10 to cover our administration costs.
We endeavour to run all the events we advertise. However, in exceptional circumstances we may have to cancel an event. In this case we shall, of course, refund all of your payments in full.
