Dharma & Meditation Weekend (Going Deeper): Wisdom Through Impermanence
|Cost||Full: £190.00 Concession: £150.00|
21 places are available at £40.00 per seat
On this meditation retreat we’ll be exploring the path and the goal of Wisdom through meditation, reflection, silence and ritual. For those who know both the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana.
If we can contemplate impermanence with a ‘fit mind’ and a ‘fit heart’; if we can own our life, take responsibility for our agency and contribute to the lives of others, we can begin to turn our mind to the fact that all things (from our perspective at least) are impermanent. We can begin, in other words, to cultivate Wisdom.
This retreat is a more intensive weekend of practice which will include silence and ritual, as well as more meditation. Only book on this weekend if you are already familiar with both meditation practices that we teach in Triratna or have been on a weekend retreat before, and if you have already been introduced to Buddhist puja. If this is not for you, do look at our Intro Weekend Retreats that we run here
