On this retreat we will be focusing our minds on the opportunities for spiritual practice through the Four Mind-Turning Reflections. Through reflecting on impermanence, the effects of karma and seeing through the illusion of samsara we deepen our going for refuge to the Three Jewels.

We will see how can we learn more about ourselves, including what holds us back, through relationships with spiritual friends. Through reflecting on the Sangha Jewel we can learn to give what is really needed and receive what is of value, moving away from the merely comfortable into the unknown.

This retreat is for Mitras only. Find out more about what it means to be a Mitra.

The full cost of this retreat must be paid at least two weeks before the start date.

Travel instructions

The retreat will be held at Vajrasana retreat centre (Potash Farm, Walsham le Willows, Suffolk, IP31 3AR). The weekend will start with a meal at 8.30pm but please try to arrive by 7.30pm. It will finish on the Sunday at around 3pm.

If you book a place on the coach please arrive at the London Buddhist Centre at 5.45pm on Friday, as it will depart promptly at 6pm.

If you are making your own way you can take a train from London Liverpool Street to Stowmarket, which is then approximately 25 minutes from Vajrasana in a taxi.
