INFORMATION FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS AND DEAF/HARD OF HEARING PEOPLE VISITING THE CENTRE

If you have a disability and are planning to visit the London Buddhist Centre, please call us in advance on 020 8981 1225 or 0845 458 4716 to let us know your specific requirements.

Wheelchair users
After extensive refurbishments completed this year, the London Buddhist Centre is accessible to people using wheelchairs. However, we request that wheelchair users contact us in advance to let us that they are planning to visit. This is because we need to use place temporary ramps on the ground floor to make it fully accessibly to wheelchair users.

There are disabled toilets on the ground floor and in the basement, where we run our Breathing Space Mindfulness for Health programme. There is also a lift from the ground floor to the basement, which is suitable for wheelchair users.

Deaf or hard of hearing people
Hearing enhancement systems in all areas of the London Buddhist Centre. If you would like to make use of these, please let us know in advance.
