World Wide WesakWesak is celebration of the most significant event in Buddhism: the day the Buddha attained supreme Enlightenment. Over thirty years ago to celebrate of the first Wesak festival at the LBC some small plaster Buddhas were made. We are giving these Buddhas away and inviting people to share photographs of them wherever in the world they travel to. After sharing your photograph you might like to invite others to do the same by giving the Buddha to a friend or leaving it where you photographed it for someone else to discover. How to take part if you have been given or have found a BuddhaPlace the Buddha somewhere in the world and photograph it.
