Breathing Space... health and wellbeing for all



The new Breathing Space venue We are converting our basement into a beautiful, accessible new venue for our Breathing Space Mindfulness for Health programme. We have been awarded a £300,000 grant/loan investment by Futurebuilders (the government-backed investment agency) and a £50,000 grant by the City Bridge Trust towards the costs of this. We aim to open the new Breathing Space in spring 2009. It will include: a large therapy room / activity space reception, kitchenette and bookshop unisex lavatories – including disabled access cloakroom platform lift for wheelchair access from street level. This new space will enable us to deliver more mindfulness-based therapy courses treating depression, addiction, stress and anxiety . Architects drawings - please click on thumbnails for larger image
