Free places for Meditation to Prevent Relapse into Depression

Thank you for enquiring about free places on Meditation to Prevent Relapse into Depression at the. London Buddhist Centre (funded by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets).

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) was developed through clinical research to help people who have suffered from depression to remain well. It is a relapse prevention course and not a clinical treatment for current depression. To qualify for a free place you'll need to feel sure that you can attend at least six sessions and be able to do some home-practice in-between classes.

What you need to do now

Below you’ll find our application form as well as more information about the course. You can fill it in on-line, or download it, print it out and send it to:

Breathing Space,
51 Roman Road,
Bethnal Green,
London, E2 OHU.

Or send your name and address to info@lbc.org.uk and we will send you an application form.

What happens next?

We will let you know if you are eligible for a free place within the next two weeks. If requests are very high we may need to ask you to go on a waiting list. If you are not eligible, you are still very welcome to attend as a paying participant – we try to keep course fees to the minimum (£110 full wage, £80 low wage).
